09 Jul 2024: Noordzeker have accepted the permits to construct and operate IJmuiden Ver Alpha. The permits have already been approved by the state, and therefore the project is consented. No later than 18 months after the permit becomes irrevocable, Noordzeker will provide maximum transparency about raw material consumption, environmental impact and value retention of the offshore wind farm. Additionally, Noordzeker will build a living laboratory to show how wind farms can help combat climate change and contribute to the recovery of the ecosystem in the North Sea. To this end, this party works together Naturalis, a Dutch research institute in the field of biodiversity. Noordzeker will announce more details about other investments, innovations and research programmes no later than 6 months after the permit has become irrevocable.
