Trainee Customer Support
Purpose of the role:
As a growing company 4C Offshore has a unique service offering with a global reach and corresponding customer portfolio covering the offshore energy sector. We provide consultancy and market intelligence services, based in Lowestoft.
We are seeking a bright and enthusiastic Customer Onboarder to support the customers and their services we as a company provide.
This person will be responsible for our subscribers, being the ‘go to’ for any customer enquiries and constantly ensuring a positive customer experience so that the clients are getting the most out of their subscription. It will also entail learning all subscription products on offer as well as understanding the offshore energy sector in detail. It will involve reporting all feedback to the relevant departments so that we are constantly improving the subscribers service within our organisation.
Initial duties/ responsibilities:
Delivering professional and excellent customer support through maintaining good rapport
· Learn and provide knowledge on all subscriptions to assist with customer enquiries
· Conduct customer training sessions to ensure they’re using the subscription to their full potential
· Record email and phone correspondence rapidly and efficiently
· Report customer feedback, concerns and issues to the manager and any other relevant department
· Provide support the Sales Team with upsell opportunities, renewals and relevant sales activities We are continuously developing our sales approach and want you to be part of this
· Represent the company at exhibitions/ conferences
Experience:
Customer service background with experience in contacting customers via the phone, Teams meetings and face to face.
Computer skills needed, preferably previous experience with computer based tools such as, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams etc.
Job Role:
- Delivering excellent customer service through maintaining good relationships.
- Providing knowledge on all subscriptions to assist with any customer enquiry.
- Excellent telephone skills and a persuasive demeanour.
- Use of Word, Excel, and Publisher.
- Gathering market and customer information as input to sales activities.
- Recording incoming email and phone enquiries rapidly and efficiently.
- Dealing with subscription renewals.
- Providing support to the sales team .
- Reporting customer feedback, concerns and issues to Sales Manager and any other relevant department.
Experience/Skills:
- Customer Service background within office environment.
- Computer skills needed preferably where previous experience was computer based
- Experience in contacting businesses on the phone as well as face to face
Working Hours & Wages:
- 5 days per week (37.5 hours)
- Salary depending on experience from £20,542.00
