LanWin4 will connect windfarms N-11.2 and N-13.1 to the grid connection point (NVP) Wilhelmshaven2 in Lower Saxony. The routing of the DC cable system is via the border corridor N-III. It will use 525kV HVDC tech rated at 2 GW.Windfarms will connect directly via 66 kV. It requires 180 km submarine cable and 45km onshore. Commissioning envisaged for 2031.
