24 Jun 2022: In the period between early April 2022 and 20 June 2022, the Danish Energy Agency has received 27 applications for the new offshore wind turbine projects via the open door scheme. It is stated in the law on the promotion of renewable energy that applications cannot be submitted outside of tenders that fully or partially overlap with the state's land reservations. Applications received in these areas must be rejected by the Minister for Climate, Energy and Supply. Hence Hansthom has been rejected.
