03 Jun 2024: Update (30th August 2024): COP details now released on the permitting dashboard. Initial COP application submitted on 3rd June 2024, which was deemed complete on 13th June 2024 Update (25th January 2024): Ørsted still intends to submit a revised COP, but this should not be expected imminently. Project details have been removed from the government's permitting dashboard. Update (1st November 2023): With all development activities currently on hold, it is unlikely that the COP would be submitted before mid-2024 -- if at all. Update (5th September 2023): Orsted is still carrying out surveys along the export cable that are due to last 30 days. Unlikely that COP submission will be during the Summer and will likely be during Q4 2023 at the earliest. Update (14th March 2023): Orsted is communicating a Summer 2023 COP submission. Update (June 2022): Orsted now plans to submit a new COP covering both phases later in 2022. If the Skipjack 2 proposal is successful, Orsted will withdraw its existing Skipjack 1 COP and submit a joint COP covering both Skipjack 1 and Skipjack 2 ro BOEM in April 2022.
