01 Nov 2024: Update (July 2024): The State of Maine Public Utilities Commission has reviewed the request for approval of a long term contract for New England Aqua Ventus. It will be contacting the negotiating parties to establish a resumption of the negotiation of the contract. This could possibly be awarded in Q4 2024 Update (April 2024): New England Aqua Ventus has requested an extension to the council meetings for approval due to dates coinciding with a conference out of state. The State of Maine Public Utilities Commission has granted this extension. NEAV is likely to request the final consent in 2024, since surveys and consultations are ongoing throughout 2023.
